Mobile capture
Scan business cards into editable contact records
Aspect Contact includes a mobile business card scanner that uses camera capture and AI-powered text extraction, filling in a review form before you save a lead to your account.
Take a photo of a paper business card or event badge, review the extracted fields, optionally run AI research on the person and company, then save the contact as a lead.
Problem
Paper business cards are easy to lose and slow to type up
After meetings and events, teams often stack business cards on desks and retype the information into spreadsheets days later.
- Manual data entry leads to typos in email addresses and phone numbers
- Business cards get separated from conversation context
- No consistent place to store scanned contacts for follow-up
Capabilities
What we offer
Camera-based capture workflow
The scanner is designed for mobile browsers. Users open the scanner while signed in, choose business card or event badge mode, and capture an image with the device camera.
- Mobile-first scanner interface
- Business card and event badge capture modes
- Review screen before saving the lead
Extracted and editable fields
Extracted values populate a form users can correct before saving. Saved leads use the contact CRM model with standard business card fields.
- First name, last name, email, phone, company, and title
- Website, address, city, state, postal code, and country when detected
- Notes field for conversation context
Optional AI research step
After extraction, users can run an optional AI research request that returns person and company summaries plus suggested conversation starters to review.
